Working Model (Proof of Concept)
After many hours trying to resolve my first circuit to operate wirelessly, I finally admitted defeat.
So first i needed some sort of frame or form of a gun to apply my Circuitry. I found this amazing fly gun in Jaycar and thought it would be perfect with some modifications. I especially loved that it had a reload barrel that i could enable as a mechanical switch.

 
I bought a number of 5v relay switches that I ended up using in my very first working gun. Later I was to learn from Yasu that a transistor would be a much better application for this and also the concern that a relay could damage the Arduino board with some use.

 

My first idea was to connect the entire remote control to the gun. But this would require a very small one such as the one obtained below. This remote control never worked that well as i had many issues soldering a wire to close the circuit permanently as my gun would have it own switch for this.

 
 

This is my first gun, which i was very pleased with the out come. This did not include and RF component at this stage.

I unbalanced a motor for a vibrator using a sinker

I went through a lot of remote controls trying to use their RF transmitter. At first I tried operating them as normal LED but soon discovered that it needs to be sent at a very specific frequency using a program. This was only after probably blowing four up....

Making the Working Model
It was decided at an early stage that the best working model representation would have two guns that would be able to represent all inputs and outputs.

The input was to be inferred light transmitter or RF sensor and transmiter.


Below is one inferred light sensor that built. I did this as at first i was not going to us Arduino and had drawn up a circuit that would opereate with no wires connecting from one gun to the other. This sensor was different to normal RF sensors as it would operrate a relay making my wireless circuit beable to operate a series of relays, switches  and output. This sensor was extremely accurate which is perfect for our models. Unfortunately at one point I had mixed up the positive and negative and blown a component of the receiver.  This forced me to have secounf thoughts about using Arduino and because it would be simpiler to build.


Below is a few cicuit diagram that would operate wirelessly using relays, three pin Switch, Rf reciever a unique mechanical switch.

Our Concept (input/output)

The device will require the user to have a smart phone and download the Steam app.
This mobile app uses it Map’s GPS system to locate other users in a twenty five metre radius.
Loading the Gun is a simple slide back mechanism located on the top of the product. The action imitates the real life and game play motion of loading the gun. Once the gun is loaded the product will illuminate much alike the Plasma pistol refer to appendix 1.3. The illumination indicates the gun is ready for use. As each time a shot is fired this action repeats.

To shoot a target the gun will have a squeezable mechanism single fire trigger. If the user misses the target the illuminated gun will fade and a red illumination occurs. The users Can then reload and persist to hit the target. If the target is hit the users gun will illuminate green and vibrate to give feedback the target has been hit. If you are the person hit your gun will vibrate and give audio feedback as well.
